We’ve always felt a huge connection to the Midwest growing up in Chicago and being involved in the amazing hospitality and music scenes there.

We were super jazzed to launch Niteglow in Chicago 2022 working with Sugar Creek Malt, Michigan hop growers and Omega Yeast to really showcase midwestern terroir as much as possible. Our friends at Whiner Beer & Miskatonic Brewing were amazing and gracious enough to let us contract our beers to distribute via Oath Distributing.

However, after a year of contracting and distributing, it became evident that the most sustainable way to grow our business was to produce and sell directly to consumers ourselves.

We searched all over Chicago and surrounding suburbs to find a future home for Niteglow’s brewery. Despite the amount of opportunities, the amount of funds necessary to make anything work made it really difficult to commit.

We decided to expand our search, knowing that Dayglow was intent on opening in other metropolitan markets, including New York. After months, we were fortunate to find a turn key space that felt appropriate for a future Niteglow & Dayglow under one roof.

This decision wasn’t easy, but we knew we had to go where the best opportunity was to build our brand.

While we will be brewing our beers in Brooklyn from now on, we hope to one day find a future home in Chicago. We still have family and so many friends there and fully intend to continue those relationships in the years to come.

We are excited to welcome you all into our all day coffee shop, microbrewery and tasting room in Brooklyn, NY soon! Expect a lot of balanced, drinkable beers with a focus on beer service, NY terroir and coffee beer creations.
