This is a really special one for us. Being a single origin multi roaster shop and brewery has it's perks. After discovering how special the Sebastian Ramirez coffee was from Columbia co-fermented with dehydrated peaches and wine yeast, we new this was destined for a new beer we were working on. That beer also has roots in NY history - a classic cream ale. Using flaked corn from our friends at New York Craft Malt and pilsner malt from Valley Malt as a base, we layered it slightly with NY grown Hallertau hops and brewed the concentrated iced coffee to blend during conditioning. The point was to truly capture as much of the fruity notes from the coffee while still providing balance btw the coffee and beer notes. We're really jazzed at the results. This beer will be pouring on our LUKR taps this Saturday at glowfest and available in cans for a limited time. Order on our website for pickup or shipping (NYS only).
