Our most important category is the exploration of coffee and beer together, specifically lighter styles. Naming it after Dayglow's Rareglow, our intent is to highlight unique and experimental coffees in a new way. R01 combines the lovely sauv blanc, gooseberry and grapefruit notes from Nelson Sauvin & Hallertau Blanc hops with the hyper sweet, acidic punch of lychee and raspberry from this red plum thermal shock processed Castillo by Diego Bermudez (roasted by our friends Manhattan Coffee Roasters in Rotterdam). The result is a coffee pale ale full of complexity. We may not be the first to make coffee beers but we hope to be among the best.
